The high-viscosity violet formulation provides excellent stencil build while reducing the number of coating passes required to achieve thicker emulsion deposits. UDC-HV offers a forgiving exposure range that makes it well suited for shops using various exposure systems, including traditional metal halide and modern LED units. Its wide exposure latitude allows operators to achieve consistent stencil quality even when exposure conditions are less than ideal, helping reduce remakes and improve production efficiency.
After production, UDC-HV washes out quickly after exposure and reclaims with minimal effort, reducing downtime between jobs while extending screen life. It is recommended for plastisol, UV-curable, and solvent-based ink systems. For heavy water-based or discharge printing, Chromaline recommends UDC-2 or UDC-ACE instead. Protect from freezing, as this emulsion is not freeze/thaw stable.
