Professional water-based black dye-sublimation ink featuring J-TECK Cluster Technology for fast drying, excellent color release, sharp image definition, and reliable performance in compatible piezo digital printers.

Characteristics

JTECK J-NEXT Subly Black JXS-65 Dye Sublimation Ink is a professional water-based digital sublimation ink engineered for high-quality transfer printing on polyester, synthetic fabrics, and compatible polyester-coated substrates.

J-NEXT Subly JXS-65 incorporates J-TECK's innovative Cluster Technology, developed to encapsulate and stabilize the ink's colorant particles. This technology promotes smooth passage through compatible piezo printheads while supporting excellent ink fluidity, dependable jetting, and consistent printing performance.

The JXS-65 formulation is designed to provide fast drying on coated transfer paper, excellent color release during sublimation, strong image definition, and optimal printability. These characteristics make it well suited for professional dye-sublimation environments where consistent output and reliable ink performance are essential.

JXS-65 is designed for use with compatible wide-format piezo digital printers and is particularly suited for equipment utilizing Epson DX6 and DX7 printheads. J-TECK also identifies the ink as suitable for Epson printheads and a broad range of compatible wide-format digital printing equipment.

The Absolute Black 405AK formulation provides a strong black component for dye-sublimation graphics and full-color production. J-TECK rates Absolute Black at 5/6 for light fastness, 4/5 for washing fastness, and 4/5 for alkaline perspiration fastness under the test standards identified in its current technical data.

J-NEXT Subly can be used for transfer printing onto polyester and polyamide fabrics, mixed synthetic fabrics containing at least 60% synthetic fibers, sublimation-compatible plastics, and wood, ceramic, or glass substrates with suitable polyester/polyamide-based coatings.

Typical applications include sportswear, outerwear, fashion garments, accessories, flags, banners, promotional products, and sublimation-compatible sporting goods.

The ink is also formulated with environmental considerations in mind. J-TECK identifies JXS-65 as APE-free (Alkylphenol Ethoxylate free).

Supplied in a 1-liter / 1 kg container, J-NEXT Subly JXS-65 provides professional dye-sublimation shops with a high-performance ink solution for compatible transfer-printing systems.

Usage Tips
  • Stir or properly agitate the ink before use as recommended by J-TECK.
  • Use only in printers and ink-delivery systems compatible with J-NEXT Subly JXS-65 water-based sublimation ink.
  • Verify printer, printhead, tubing, damper, and ink-system compatibility before changing from another ink chemistry.
  • Print onto suitable coated dye-sublimation transfer paper.
  • J-TECK recommends transferring the printed paper hot using a compatible calendar or heat press.
  • Use a transfer temperature of approximately 200–210°C / 392–410°F as a starting point.
  • Recommended transfer time is approximately 30–60 seconds, depending on the substrate and transfer equipment.
  • Always perform test prints and transfer tests before beginning production.
  • Optimize temperature, dwell time, pressure, print settings, and color management for the specific substrate being decorated.
  • For textiles, verify that the fabric is compatible with dye sublimation. Mixed fabrics should contain at least 60% synthetic fibers according to J-TECK's technical guidance.
  • When decorating rigid substrates such as ceramics, glass, or wood, use only substrates with a suitable polyester/polyamide-based sublimation coating.
  • Use an appropriate ICC color profile and printer settings for the printer, transfer paper, substrate, and production workflow.
  • Keep the ink container properly sealed when not in use to help prevent contamination.
  • Protect the product from direct light and heat sources.
  • Store at a temperature below 25°C / 77°F.
  • Follow the current J-TECK Technical Data Sheet and Safety Data Sheet for handling, storage, and production recommendations.
