SKU SE-P305/40-62-Y

Premium 305-count yellow monofilament polyester screen printing mesh with a 40-micron thread diameter and plain-weave construction, engineered for fine-detail printing, accurate registration, controlled ink deposits, and dependable high-tension performance.

Characteristics

PET 1500 Mesh 305/40 PW Yellow – 62" is a professional-grade, high-modulus monofilament polyester screen printing mesh designed for applications requiring excellent dimensional stability, precise image reproduction, and consistent print quality. The 305 mesh count combined with a 40-micron thread diameter provides a fine mesh structure suited for detailed graphics, halftones, fine lines, small text, and applications requiring controlled ink deposits.

The mesh features a plain weave (PW / 1:1) construction. Published PET 1500 technical data for the 305/40 configuration specifies an approximate 37-micron mesh opening, 20% open area, and 62–64 micron mesh thickness, with slight differences appearing between technical-data revisions.

The yellow mesh color provides UV-light undercutting protection, helping reduce light scatter during exposure. This supports sharper stencil edges and improved reproduction of fine halftones and detailed artwork. PET 1500 also features a specially treated mesh surface designed to promote stencil adhesion, wettability, ink release, and antistatic performance.

PET 1500 is manufactured from low-elongation, high-modulus polyester and provides strong mechanical durability, chemical resistance, and stable tension characteristics. These properties make it suitable for demanding production environments where consistent registration and repeatable screen performance are important.

The 62-inch width provides flexibility for stretching a variety of screen frame sizes and is available for the PET 1500 305/40 PW Yellow configuration.

Usage Tips ▼
  • Maintain even tension across the screen during stretching to take advantage of PET 1500's dimensional stability.
  • The 305/40 mesh configuration is particularly appropriate when fine image reproduction and controlled ink deposition are more important than laying down a heavy ink film.
  • Use an appropriate tension level for the mesh, frame, and specific printing application.
  • Take advantage of the yellow mesh's UV-light undercutting protection when exposing detailed artwork and fine halftones.
  • Select the emulsion and coating technique according to the desired stencil thickness and image requirements.
  • Adjust exposure settings for the emulsion, coating thickness, exposure system, and yellow mesh being used.
  • Select ink viscosity and squeegee parameters appropriate for the fine 305-count mesh.
  • Check screen tension periodically during production to help maintain accurate registration and repeatable print quality.
  • Production testing is recommended when matching the mesh with a new ink, emulsion, stencil thickness, or substrate.
