Taking the already superior DTF System and giving you the options for production or High-Production! SPSI is proud to bring on line the VELOX PLUS DTF System. This unit can be configured as a 3 head printer or the ultra fast 5-head printer. You don't have to sacrifice your quality for speed with the VELOX PLUS. If you want to start out with production of 50' per hour (which still is awesome speed), then we will set up your printer with 3 Epson i3200. If at some point you need more production we can simply convert the same printer with 5 printheads and now you will have the capability of printing upwards of 120' per hour.
The VELOX DTF System brings the high-resolution printing that you are looking for without the "plastic" feeling that you'll find with the economy models. This machine has been tested in some of the biggest textile decorating shops in the country. We are confident you will be amazed on the productivity, the feel of the print, the cost of consumables, and the ease-of-use.

More informationWhy do I need the Filtrabox fume extractor for the DTF process?
The process starts with a DTF inkjet printer laying down digital inks onto special plastic DTF film. Then, the DTF hot-melt adhesive powder is applied to the printed transfer film. The powder only sticks to the areas that have ink on them. The film moves into curing dryer to melt and bind the hot melt powder onto the transfer film. The hot-melt adhesive does not actually release fumes at this stage because of the nature of the thermoplastic adhesives used.
The dryer boils away the excess liquid from the inks (glycol) and creates a fair amount of fumes. The dense fumes are made up of a concentration of tiny liquid droplets. This is where fume extraction is strongly suggested, if you do not have the dryer vented to the outside. The DTF fume extractors are specifically designed to capture these microscopic droplets. This is necessary to keep the work environment, product and equipment clean and fog-free. The Filtrabox DTF Fume Extractors feature reinforced liquid-resistant prefilters and Hydrophobic HEPA filters for efficient and reliable removal of fog particles. The unique reverse-flow configuration of the FIltrabox DTF fume extractors ensure that accumulated liquids do not reach the blowers and electronics for reliable performance you can count on. A liquid reservoir is built into each fume extractor to capture excess liquids that build up within the system which then can be drained at your convenience.
